Levi's Scandal ends in Blessed Reunion

so this may be strange..but does anyone have a favorite pair of jeans or pants..and they just fit so good and are the best jeans that you have ever owned? well i dooo..i love this certain type of levi's...certain style, color and of course size...but because i am with kids all daying running around and playing they get worn out really quick,....i wear them until there are big holes in the knees..anywayss...about two weeks ago my current pair got the dreaded hole(not completely dreaded, i actually look forward to i think..an excuse to shop) so no problem i am thinking..this has happened many a time before..i will just go and pick up another pair..so my girlfriends and i head out to metrotown one night....i am soo excited....we get there and the jeans are no where to be found...so i try on a bunch and did not like any of them....so i asked if the guy in the store would call downtown and see if they had them..they didn't....so i left in a conniption...and what do i do..head straight to lululemon to buy some pants..for comfort( i am really attached to these jeans).....the next day i decided to call downtown to see for sureee that they did not have any...the guy was like "ohh, are you the one that called last night and we already told you we dont have any?".....umm ya that would be me....just making sure.....soo i started calling other stores that carry levis......after i had called every store in the lower mainland that carries them i was feeling defeated..so i started calling the levi's store on the island...victoria..nanaimo.....and it was then that they told me that the jeans i wanted had been discontinued......well that explains my zillion phone calls that amounted to nothinggg..why didn't they just say that???? so i gave in..i mourned the loss of my jeans...but then i had an idea...ebay!!! well needless to say that ended in sheer misery.......so by now i had really given up......i made plans to go downtown to the levi's store the next saturday and look for new jeans......i woke up saturday morning with a heavy heart......so many questions in my mind....what color, what style, will steven likeeeeeeeee them....hes my stylist...for real..and now that hes gone i faced this decision on my own....so off we went..joel came with me,......we get to the store and i look around for a minute and then start asking some people that work there what they think..what would be most similar to what i have now?......they show me these hideous outlandishhhhh jeans.....so i start moping around the store..haha..joel has taken a seat by now and has given into the inevitable,..we could be here for a longggggg time......so as i mope around a bit more...something catches my eye.....i see a little snitch of the denim i know best....i cross that room in two strides flat......i pick up the jeans and i can just feeelll my blood start to boil.....i turn around slowly to the workers...joel hides..he knows best....they all stand cowardly as i hold the jeans up and announce that i have found what i came to claim.......butttt the pair i had in my hands was the sample...so i was thinking.....oh what a sick joke.....they discontinue my jeans and then leave the sample there for me to drool over....so as calmly as i can..(haha, i was actually very nice and demure throughout the whole ordeal) I ask to see if they have my size......this question itself is like asking for the world......"nooo really?? people can be slim and still have long legs???" seriously.....if i ran the world.............so anywayssss......the girl goes and looks.......she comes back with something actually in her hands.....could it be??? they actually have my size??? so let me get this straight....the jeans they claimed to not have in stock..and they later went on to tell me were discontinued were sitting on their shelf the entireeeee timeeee...all the stress,,,all the long distance phone calls....i snatched those jeans so quick.....and it as it turns out they not only had one ( you know..like i could understand one pair of jeans going unnoticed) they had twoooooo in my size.....so i bought them both .....not even a thought to go with it.....i think by this time joel was embaressed...thats ok....i forget that hes not used to such scenes like steven is......steven does not even bat an eye anymore....hes knows me..and he knows to stay out of the way when i am dealing with such matters....hahah......soooooooooo i am so pleased to announce on my blog that a reunion has taken place......everyone can stop worrying now :)

Dutch pancake

My dear mother made us the best dinner tonight..and it looked so cool that i just had to take a picture! At times my mom likes to pretend that we are dutch, to show off to steven..to impress him..haha..so tonight she made this weird half crepe half pancake.....half something..and then you sprinkle tons of icing sugar on it and then squeeze a half lemon in top..it was to good!! i will attempt to make this for the family at work,..and i will post the pictures of the way mine turns out....a flat lifeless paste i am sureee..but nonetheless i will try!!!!

The other day i went to the Vancouver Aquarium with the girls and their parents, Laura and Dave. It was fun to go and see how its changed since i was a young one...hasn't changed much, but there is always something new that i see that i like. This time it was the sloth.....they have a little section of birds and such, and then wayyy high up in a tree was a sloth..sleeping of course..very cute....
