Air Care Fiasco

Oh brother.....this year to renew my insurance i had to get my car air cared....so i went the other day to get it done.....scared out of my wits..i dont know why..i just really wanted to pass so i didn't have to spend yet another few thousand dollars on a car thats pretty much not even worth that itself....so i took my friend steph....we pulled up and the first thing is i didnlt know what lane to go in....is my car front, back, all wheel drive?? i had noooo clue...how, i dont know..but i didn't.....so i chose a lane and the guys wave me in..i park fine.....the guy that was helping me was so nice...but had a very thick east indian accent....so he was trying to be helpful and tell me what to do..but i still could just not understand....everyone in there was already laughing at me..i dont know why at this point.....anyways...i pull my car up and the test begins...steph and i are watching the computer intently to watch for any changes...even though we dont know what we are watching for......the line reading is straight as can be ( we are thinking this is good) and then all the sudden takes a hugeeeee dip.....we dont realize how intense we were watching this screen so we both yell.....like "whatttttttt..nooooooo!!"....the dip went back up..but now i was nervous...the guy came back and told me that i passed...so we get back in the car..i turn my car "on".....i hear this huge screeching noise....i look around helpless and confused...put my window down and the guy in his thick accent says " the car is already running"....................ya..i knew that......................so i start driving away...just sooo happy to be done and to have passed......he yells at me "wait...your insurance!!!"....so embaressed i stop and realize i had pulled away without my pass sheet or insurance....so i proceed to back up..and as i do so...i hear another "wait stopp".....just as i was nearly hittttting one of the woman workers......i stick my head out of the window apologizing..and they are just like "its ok its ok".. just not wanting to talk about it so i will just be out of there before i can do any real damage....by this time steph was laughing so hard and so was everyone else is in there......it was so bad...i was laughing too...but truely feeling like a complete idiot!!!....i am not normally the ditz at alll..so it was weird to feel so out of control and just plain stupid.....oh well...better luck next time.
